Housing Market Update 02/15/21

Hey guys it's Melanie with Century 21 Elite and we're going to talk about what's happening in our local real estate market and all this snowy weather.

Here we are again having our second snow day of the year here in Shreveport Louisiana and these temps and snowfall they're actually supposed to last through the week. So I'm betting that when we look at the numbers for this week, next week, to see what happened in the in the coming um seven days right now, that we're not we're not going to see much movement at all. But that's just my guess; we'll have to wait and see. So last week we had 136 houses get listed for sale. We had 164 homes get offers accepted on them so those are now pending. 43 of those homes were just listed last week. We had 96 closings that took place so those are our Solds! Today there's a total of 981 houses available for sale but when we talked last Monday there were 993 homes available for sale so, yep, that's another week of inventory going down.
