1. Before looking for a home you need to know how much you can afford and the best way to do that is to talk to a lender and get pre-approved for a mortgage. There are many great lenders out there and you can work with the one you choose. Contact me for a list of some Lenders I have worked with.
2. The person on the sign outside of a house for sale, the listing agent, is usually not the ideal person to call about that house. They represent the seller in all ways and are legally required to look out for the best interest of that seller above ANYONE else, even themselves. Seriously. 3. So if you shouldn't call the listing agent, who should you call? You need to find an agent to represent you as a Buyers Agent, and work with that ONE real estate agent as your agent.
